El Cerdo, Changkat Bukit Bintang

El Cerdo Nose to tail eating, serving authentic Cochinillo Spanish cuisine in the centre busy city of KL, located at the most happening night spot, Changkat Bukit Bintang.
A humble invitation by El Cerdo in conjunction with my new column in my travel Guide "A day with Eric Yong" El Cerdo is one of Eric's  favourite pork's place and he will definitely visit this Spanish restaurant at least once a month.
Greeted warmly by the restaurant's manager upon arrival and was given a private room for this review session. We starts with thirst quenching drinks recommended by Chris;

Werner's Special
 Love at first try, and I lost counts on how many glasses I ordered

Jamon Serrano
Imported High Quality Spanish Cured @ Air Dried Ham serve with Rock Melon and Salad

Oven Roasted Iberico Spare Ribs
Serve with Pineapple Salsa

Cochinillo Alestili Segoviano
Roasted Suckling Pig (Oink Oink)

Mountain Paella
Paelle Style Rice with Pork Bacon, Chicken and Fresh Mushroom

Werner's Special
Fresh Strawberry in Mango Sauce with Chocolate Mousse and Wild Raspberry Sherbet

Mouth watering dish from the start till the end of the course. I would say the serve the BEST awesome pork in town. The dish that I love the most is the Oink Oink  Suckling Piggy ~ Poor Piggy, didn't get to grow up to see the world. The crispy and tender juicy pork that will melt you instantly.

 Before you starts to eat the piggy there's a Spanish tradition which you will need to followed. First of all, you will need to knock the plate 3 times before chopping the poor piggy with PLATE, after chopping 3 times, it was believed that all back luck is transferred to the plate and you will need to break the plate to break the spell of the bad luck to welcome all GOOD LUCK. Huat ar!!

This is Ah Bok chopping the poor piggy with his kung fu, and Jason with his phone taking pictures of poor piggy. The breaking plate on the right to break the bad luck and to welcome GOOD LUCK to all of us! Huat ar!!!

A Spanish tradition which had been practice at El Cerdo since its inaugural.
