CELEBRATING UZBEKISTAN'S INDEPENDENCE, NST 11 Oct 2012

"Uzbekistan the Guide" was launched on this day with the celebration of Independence of Uzbekistan. Proudly present to you "Uzbekistan the Guide", the first FREE Travel Guide published in Malaysia by Bluedale Publishing (M) Sdn Bhd. Effort of Uzbektourism promoting Uzbekistan as one of the best destination in Malaysia which has more than 
2.5 millenia history.

KUALA LUMPUR: About 400 guests attended Uzbekistan's 21st Independence Day celebration here recently.

Guests were treated to a lavish spread of the country's specialities and entertained with song performances by Uzbekistan's children in Malaysia.
Uzbekistan Ambassador Dr Shukur Sabitov played host. Also present were Prime Minister's Department deputy minister Datuk Dr Mashitah Ibrahim, Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk A. Kohilan Pillay, and Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu.
A tourist guide book "Uzbekistan the Guide", published by Bluedale Publishing (M) Sdn Bhd, was also launched to encourage Malaysians to visit Uzbekistan.
